Do you believe in the supernatural? Do you think that anyone has ever tried to contact you or send you signs from the other side?

My husband died February 28, 2010. I had a beautiful butterfly come to my patio several times and would be so close I could touch it or pick it up. I believe it was a sign from my husband. Also I recently woke up in middle of night or was dreaming and saw an image like my husband I thought going to bathroom and then I tried to move my hands to get up and something touched them and they were frozen so couldn't move. I believe it was my husband. I had been praying for a sign he was ok and in heaven and I believe I got it.
Thank you for sharing, Nancy. Three people this week have told me about similar experiences with butterflies. Fascinating. Blessings of love and light to you as well as to your husband.

It's very inteersting about herons. Mesmerizing story. But to tell the truth, I am a little bit afraid of such things and try no to think about them, paying no attention to them. Though I completely realize that if I don't believe it, it doesn't mean that supernatural doesn't exist. Subliminally I feel that it does exist. I donloaded a many mystical stories from search on pdf files I feel a bit frightened now...
I just bought the book messages, premonitions, by Bonnie McEneaney-
my night light flashes during the night..

I talked to him the other night. I feel that he is with me.. But I wonder if he can help me now... you know.?

I don't know if he really loves me sometimes. Well to visit me but my heart - condition is that i know that I want him to be with me..

I didn't think it him at night.. I felt his presence.
I haven't had the chance to read all 33 pages yet but I am a believer and was before I lost my son on Aug. 8th. He has been with me since be left. I've felt his presence. I know that he is happy and at peace. I've had several signs that I know were from him. The day of his funeral we came home and the florist delivered a Peace Lily from a friend. I left it sitting on the dining table. I walked by it many times going and coming from the kitchen. But hours later I walked by it and a scent of mens cologne was very strong. Strong enough that it stopped me in my tracks. I went back and picked it up and sniffed it. It was definitely coming from the plant and I thought maybe it was something about the blooms that was producing the scent and then placed it in a permanent spot in the foyer. The next day I started thinking about it and picked it up to sniff it and it had no smell what so ever.

Later I was in our den and I heard the back storm door open. Our dog heard it also and started barking but no one was there.

Coming home from seeing his body the first time, my husband looked at me and asked, do you smell flowers? Yes I did. The whole vehicle smelled like a florist shop.

He has visited my cousin who he was very close to. Her doorbell rang at 6:30 am and no one was at the door. A few minutes later she heard banging at the basement door. She ran down and opened it and no one was there. Unnerved she ran the tape back for the outside cameras thinking she might have a someone trying to break in. There was no one on the tape. As soon as she calmed down and went back to bed the doorbell started ringing again. This time it didn't stop. She had to call her husband to come home. He had to unhook the power to the doorbell. It rang over an hour.

He's came to my daughter in a dream. She said that they hugged and she told him that she loved him. And they talked for awhile. She felt comforted.

I went out with my dog a few days ago. I was going to sit on the top step under the eave of the house and wait for her to do her business as it was raining lightly. Just as I sat down a monarch flew by. I've never seen a butterfly in the rain. I'm sure it was Jason saying hello.

Flowers and butterflies are my thing. I love them both and he knew that. So yes I believe.
Susan, thank you for sharing your experiences. What a God-send that you know that your son is happy and at peace, which allows you to be at peace as well. I am clear that what we call death is simply a refocusing of our energy from a physical body to a spirit body and beyond. We are eternal:

May the fragrance of flowers and the presence of butterflies continue to fill your world.

Warmly,

I believe I have had signs from family members who have died. My Father passed away last month. I went to our newspaper website to view his obituary. There is a link to view an online guestbook where people can leave messages for the family. I had printed out several pages to give to my Mom. They were stacked on my computer desk which is upstairs in my house. A few day after I printed them, I came upstairs and noticed the top page was turned facing my computer chair as if someone was trying to read it. I turned it back on the stack and went downstairs. Later that day I had to go upstairs again to put laundry away and noticed it was moved in the same position again. I believe my Father was in my house trying to read what his family and friends wrote about him. My Uncle also died 5 years ago. About a week after his death, I was in my apartment that I lived in at the time which was very small. I was by myself in my bathroom getting dressed. I had a Elvis touch lamp in my living room. When you touched the bottom to turn it on, you could hear your finger tapping the bottom. I was looking in the mirror when I heard the clicking sound. I looked out my bathroom into the living room, and the lamp was on. There were no windows open and the lamp was off. My Uncle was an Elvis fan. I called my Aunt and told her I think he was visiting me that day. I believe that when people die, they need to check on their family before their spirit or soul goes to it's final resting place.
Thank you for posting, Victoria, and for sharing your experiences with your dad and your uncle. Fascinating! Wishing you all the best.
Our family had a strange occurance the other night. My oldest granddaughter and I were cleaning out a hutch that needed to be moved and she found a white box and in it was a paper like inside a fortune cookie. It was written in some other language so she "googled" it. Well tht night she called me to tell me that it was the name of an Italian Christmas Carol with words and versus all about "stars, being up in the sky, shining like stars, etc." Well, at first I didn't get it but then it made sense, her father had sudden death on Christmas Day 2009 and that little piece of paper was a Christmas carol about stars in the sky.
Then in the middle of the night I heard a crash, went to see what my cat had knocked over and in an extra bedroom in the middle of the room was my son's picture book from his funeral which had fallen off the top of a tile cabinet. Two signs in one night that he was around us.....
He also shows up in photo's with unusual lights or orbs in the picture....so we do feel his presence here and there.
Our one year anniversary of him leaving us is coming this Christmas.....anyone up to suggestions for our family to remember that day with a positive theme?
Susan,

Thank you for sharing about your son. It would be a challenge for me to suggest a way of honoring the one-year anniversary of your son's transition without knowing the emotional state of family members. For example, is anyone angry that he died, or living with regret? Are family members complete with their relationship with him? When they think of him, are they present to joy, gratitude and love for what they shared, or something else?

I send you a warm embrace.

Irene

Susan,

I had an interesting experience the moment after I posted a reply to your request. I receive a daily inspirational email from a soul-focused group. Here's today's message:

"We say, 'Hitch your wagon to a star,' but make that star high in the heavens.

When you get that high, you can see all the others, and you can see correctly where things are.

You can see what the world is. You can see the delusions of mankind and the inhumanities that we perpetrate against the physical form, attempting to control it. But behind the prison bars of the body, the emotions and the mind, stands the freedom of the consciousness that is pure."

What a blessing! Life is divinely orchestrated and nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . happens by chance or coincidence.

Love,

Irene
