BIG GROUP HUG

I mentioned in one of my post about meeting some widows in a focus group and how wonderful it was to talk to them in person. It was like posting on this web site, only in person. Carol replyed back to me and she thought it would be nice to meet in a "nice place - middle , kind of like Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings." She suggested we start a discussion about it.

Are there others who would like to try and plan on a place to meet like that widow group that meets in CA? I know we are all from all over the world, but like Carol said, if you want it bad enough we can do it.

I don't know exactly how to go about to try and plan an event like this, but if others want to, we could put all our ideas together, maybe there is someone who is good at planning things that could guide us.

This was just an idea, maybe it is to far fetched an idea, but it is nice to think about it anyway.

As I have said in a previous post, I really do not know how to arrange this group hug. I don't travel much so I did not know Las Vegas was not cheap anymore. I am willing to go anywhere, mid-west is fine also and a conference center is fine with me. I would really like to do this and I apoligize for not knowing more what to do. Maybe we should all just agree on a place and time and then the ones who want to go arrange it on their own or when we agree on a place, call and see if we could get a discounted rate for a group. I need all the input I can get. Thanks to all of you.

I would really love to meet with you all I Live in Oregon, and the only excuse I have is that I can't afford it; so when you all do meet up enjoy one for me.
