Ellen Brant

Hi everyone..

I am a good friend of Ellen Brant's, and I joined this group for the purpose of delivering a message to you from Ellen.

She was moved to a private room at 3 a.m. this morning, and she apologizes that some people have called the previous number and have spoken with someone angry and rude. :( In any case, she asked me to post the new number for you.

Her room number is now 713 704-8633.

The main hospital number (in case she is moved again) is 713-704-2273.

Ellen speaks so highly of this wonderful group, and I know you have all helped her tremendously, so thank you.

My husband passed away when my son was a baby, and my son is grown now, so it's been awhile, but I know how difficult it is to lose a spouse. My deepest condolences to all of you. It's devastating when you think of what Ellen is dealing with now, on the heels of this terrible loss.

Please do give her a call if you have the time. She really enjoys hearing from all of us.

I haven't been able to be in touch with Ellen and I was wondering how she has been doing. If anyone has talked to her could you post her progress and if possible, let her know that I am continuing to remember her and everyone in my prayers. This would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Suzanne, I talk to Ellen almost every night( we have the same cell phone company). She is still in the hospital, just went through another surgery -- some sort of graft. Her sense of humor is still there, wearing a bit thin, but still there. I'll relay your message to her tomorrow nite. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers. Take care. Ellen is a remarkable person, I'm glad to have her as a friend.

suzanne: how are you doing how did you make out yesterday with your son? hope everything went well for you. i have not really spoken to anyone because of the shower it is keeping me busy

Suzanne, I talk to Ellen every night (same cell-phone company). I tried to send you a in-box message, but I have to be friends with you ( I thought we were!). I have her new address for you, and also relayed your message to her.Ellen thanks you for thinking about her. She is still in rough shape, unable to take care of herself on her own. Please answer my friend request and I will give you Ellen's new address and phone number. Please take care of yourself. Hugs.

I don't get on here much, I know...but here is the latest info on Ellen. She has been moved to a nursing home where she will be for 7 weeks. This is her new phone number:

She asked me to post it, and I know she would love to hear from you!

To All, I talk to Ellen every nite --- it's our one on one support group! She is still pretty much bed bound, once in a while they get her up into a wheelchair. Yesterday a friend came to see her and took her outside for about 20 min. Ellen still has a cast on her leg, hopefully another 4-6 wks and it can come off. Still unable to use her left arm much because of the pain. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She misses her friends here at Legacy, and her thoughts and prayers are with all here. Hugs to everyone.

Thanks Barb for update on Ellen. Please give her my love & tell her she is in my prayers for a speedy recovery. One on one support groups are great. She is helping you, as you help her. Bless you!
