Dear James, I hope I don't impose my faith on you, but I feel compelled to do so. Please don't give up. All of us who have faith in religion or not go through hard struggles, but it is a part of life no one can escape, but there is always hope and our trust is needed to go on. There is a God,who is by your side waiting for you to come to Him and tell him your feelings as a friend. I know this, because I have witnessed him as a child with cancer. He showed himself to me before my treatment and let me know that no matter what we go through in life, he is there and he loves us deeply. If you want to hear more, I will tell you. The Lord, Jesus, is real. Please, I pray that you will follow your mother's wishes, because it is the truth. You are never alone in your grief as much as it may hurt. You are surrounded by care that you now are unaware of.

I'm agnostic, so grief is a real mindf**k. I envy people of faith. My Mom told me she wanted me in Heaven with her, bless her heart. It still feels like yesterday, going on three years now. My sanity is hanging by a thread. Maybe if I weren't homeless in a jobless economy, I could heal , at least some. I miss my favorite person dearly. Jimi
