We little knew the day that, God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but in God we put our trust.
In times as difficult as this, faith is such a must.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide.
Though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
As God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

This is a beautiful poem and so fitting. Thank you for posting it. It makes me think but I just wish there was something that would ease the pain. In my mind, and this is only my feeling, the only way my pain will be erased is when I am reunited with my husband. It will be 8 months on Friday that we lost him. I feel no better now than I did then. I only sleep with meds and I barely eat. If it were not for the children making me eat, I probably wouldn't bother eating. I am so very lonely without him. Nothing is the same. I am sorry to be so down but it is the way I am feeling right now. Again, thanks for posting such a beautiful poem. God Bless You.
That is a beautiful poem, thanks for osting it. Connie, my life seems to be going the same as yours. Actually, it is the same except its been 16 months and three weeks.Four months ago at doc's, I have lost 28 pounds and counting. Hugs to all. Hugs are good.
The poem is lovely buy I personally have no faith as I believe that good and young people should stay with the loved ones. The pain of losing a soulmate will never stop, ever!!! FERNANDO I LOVE YOU!
beautuful words,,,there are times that the only thing that softens the pain is to know that we will meet again. I reach for that when the pain seems impossible to bear. It does soothe me for a while.
Beautiful poem
