This might be a rough time for many of you. Do what you feel you need to do to get through it. Remember, someone is here almost all the time to talk to you.

Carol ...  Couldn't leave my email address on your private board because you are moderating it.  Will give you a phone call.

Carol ...  Nice to hear from you again. I haven't received any emails from you for quite sometime so hope you don't think I'm just not answering as I always answer my emails.  I checked my junk mail and nothing there either.  Will leave my email address in a private post.

Yes, it was nice to have young-uns over.  We had a good time and lots of laughs.

Rolland ...  I'm so sorry you lost the wedding rings, but understand you realize the material things in life mean nothing no that our spouses have passed on. May I suggest putting an ad in the Lost & Found on Facebook or local newspapers (yes people still read newspapers.  LOL)  I lost a pink ring and put an ad in and someone had found it at the beach and returned it to me.  I wish you luck as there is certainly sentiment to rings binding two loving people together.

Carol, I'm actually The 3rd in a line of Rollands, my grandfather and father were the other two. The spelling is different, my name has 2 L's in it..and the O is in Raw Land..:-)

I understand Roland and me too, I'd give anything for a kiss and hug from my sweetie! ps how often does a person come across the name Roland, but funny enough my son-in-law's name is the same!

....and Pete I agree with you, there's not a thing that I own that I wouldn't throw away to have one more kiss and hug from my wife. Rolland

Carol & Pete..thanks for your words of comfort. My reaction to the loss of the rings are a self defense because I just cant take on anymore grief without self destructing. So it's a decision albeit a tough one for self preservation. Rolland

Rolland I am sorry for your loss! It will be 5 years the end of November I lost my Rose to cancer, it was sudden due to a late diagnosis. I would gladly give up every thing I have to have her back with me.

Dear Roland, I am sorry you lost the rings and to be honest there is no way I would have handled that. I would have been quite distraught as I am an attachment person and would have been devastated. I completely understand what you are saying but I honestly wouldn't have that courage. I am sorry for your loss.
