This might be a rough time for many of you. Do what you feel you need to do to get through it. Remember, someone is here almost all the time to talk to you.

Peace

Dear Trina,

Dear friend, as time grows longer from the loss of your beloved Joseph, we all know the grief and loss still remain throughout our days and years. That you can write that you have found a calmer spot in your grieving warms my heart, as you are so loving and compassionate to all the family always. The many times your words helped me through the darkness are not forgotten, nor will they ever be.

Post whenever and as often as is right for you...you still remain daily in my thoughts and prayers, as does everyone her in this uncommonly compassionate family.

Love,

Chuck

Dear Mary Jane,

The link to the song is so appreciated - I have heard it before, and the message is so positive and hopeful that your sharing it with us all is truly a blessing. Hoping today is a good one for you, without pain or sadness, but filled with a sense of peace...

Love, Chuck

Dear Sara,

I always smile when I know you are doing alright - as busy as you are you seem to always find time to jump in with support and encouragement whenever you see someone hurting or just going through an emotional time. God bless you for that dear friend.

Love and peace right back to you today, and always -

Chuck

Hello Diane C.,

Thank you for sharing about the feather your husband sent to you - after Steve's and my own experiences with feathers made it clear to me that I wasn't imagining that they were from Larry, reading lovely stories such as yours only helps to affirm that we are all being watched over and protected my our loved ones. What a comfort and a blessing that is for me, and for us all. I have such a big collection now that I am considering finding a styrofoam Christmas tree form, and assembling a "feather tree" - not like the traditional antiqe variety, but layering them small to large going down, where i can add new ones as they appear.

Have a peaceful day, and I think it is so wonderful that you and your daughter raise funds for Hospice, as they are all Angels there, every one!!!

Love,

Chuck

Dear Sara ...  You sound so much better and I hope things are going much more smoothly for you and you're experiencing some peace, hope and happiness in your life.  Thank you for thinking of me and a herniated disc is terrible as well.  I am doing much better thanks to my Physiotherapist.

Hugs

Marsha

Dear Trina ...  It is so good to hear from you and I am so happy you at a calmer place in your life now.  I am as well, but as you say we will never forget our spouses.  I move on as best I can to make Ernie proud of me.  Oh yes, I do have my bad days every so often, but not as frequently.

I am doing fairly well and had Sciatica, but the exercises and treatments the physiotherapist is giving me has helped a great deal so I'll soon be on the roll again.  LOL

Please keep in touch every so often just to say hi if anything.  Feel like I've known you forever.

Hugs

Marsha

Chicago.......I just saw your link with the post about grief and I had to share it on my fb page.  Thanks for sharing that with us.

OMG Steve..... your post just brought tears to my eyes. This weekend my daughter and I walked in a fund raiser for our local Hospice where my husband passed away, soon to be 5 years ago on August 1st. They asked that we send them a picture of our loved one. Last week I scanned a picture of my husband at work to send to them. Of course the picture was now in my in box. Later in the day I clicked on the link looking for items to delete. His picture filled my computer screen. I wasn't expecting that and as I looked into his eyes I began to cry. After a few minutes I regained my composure and of course could not delete it. I spent most of the day thinking about my husband and when I got home and pulled into the garage, there laying on the floor of the garage was the most beautiful feather he has sent me to date.  I thanked him profusely for sending me that sign.I do find feathers when I am having a bad day and thinking about him more than usual. If that's possible... But I do find the occasional feather in unusual places and he also send me hummingbirds. We always had trouble attracting them. We would get one or two on occasion.  But in the days after he passed away, I was getting several, several times a day. I know these are signs from him. As you, I cherish these gifts from him... Have a good day and I look forward to the next chapter.....

Hi All.......I haven't posted in the past week but I think of you all everyday.  Between being busy at work and having some things come up after work, I haven't been able to catch up on all the posts here.  The last one I read from last week was Chuck giving the definition of stasis which I found perfect.  That's the definition of my life so thanks for posting that.  I'll continue reading to catch up.  I wish you all a good night.  Oh, and Marsha.......I hope your sciatica is doing better.  I've had a herniated disc which presses on the sciatic nerve so I know how painful and debilitating it is and wish you a speedy recovery with it.

Love and peace,

Sara
