This might be a rough time for many of you. Do what you feel you need to do to get through it. Remember, someone is here almost all the time to talk to you.

Sarah stay safe out there, my daughter is being released Wednsday to go back to work, she never received her test results but it is 2 weeks so she is good, Chuck I went to an early morning grocery run and I too was surprised by the workers not wearing gloves, seems very risky to me, we can get groceries delivered but not getting what I ordered so decided to try this and got everything, although it was really scary being out and came home and washed all my clothes and disinfected everything, this all seems like a end of the world movie, I have been getting out and going for walk by myself and not even sitting on benches or even touching a stick, you just don't know. everyone that has to go out stay safe and Sarah take your shoes off outside and carry to closet, it can live on shoes for 5 days
Chuck and I are in self isolation, and have been since the end of Feb. We order our groceries online and then drive to the store to pick them up. They have special parking spaces and a specific phone number to call. then someone brings them out and loads them in the back. the last time we ordered the wait for pick up was 4 days out. some of the items we ordered were not available. we sat there watching shoppers going in without protection and it looked like there were a lot of shoppers.
I had to make a trip to CVS pharmacy yester day, wearing gloves and mask for my allergy meds and my prescription. wanted to get some rubbing alcohol, and found none, was astonished to see none of the workers and the 3 others shopping were not wearing any protection.
We are still doing fine, staying indoors except to get mail and of course Chuck still feeds the birds.
we watch a lot of movies, talk to each other a lot, and chuck is making more masks from the cotton fabric he has and from a pattern he found online. we intend to send some to his friend in upper state NY.
there is an app you can download to your phone called zoom. it allows you to set up a video conference call. Chuck and his friend in NY talk once a week via this app it helps to see faces of whom you are talking to.
Stay safe is our message to all and sending hugs to all, we can all get through this together.
Dear Sara ... So sorry to hear about this, but try not to worry. I have 3 girlfriends working; 1 in Costco, 2 in large companies and there was one person in each place that had the corona virus. All my friends are just fine and are staying home; working from home. For now please stay away from relatives, the elderly and friends for a bit to be sure. You can also call your doctor to test you if you are worried and they take a nasal swab from you. I'm praying everything is going to be fine for you and I really think you are A-OK. The link Mary gave you is very informative and should calm your fears.
I dunno if this link will work..but this gave me hope.
Oh Sara..stay safe.Prayers coming for you.
Just found out today there's a confirmed case in my office. We weren't told who the person is but HR has contacted those that have been in contact with that person and I'm happy to say HR hasn't contacted me. I've been bouncing between working from home and going into the office but i guess I'll be staying home now.
Hope all of you and your families are still doing well.
Yesterday was finally a nice enough day to get out and enjoy some sunshine, took my dog hiking in the woods behind my subdivision, felt really blessed to be able to do such a small thing. hope everyone is healthy and please stay safe
Please forgive me for not answering some of you or posting, but not getting the post in my in box. What next! I have prayed for each and every one of you that all of you are safe and managing this terrible time. I live in Canada and so far things aren't to bad, but agree with Deborah; it can get boring, but I don't complain as we have sunshine and now a bit of rain and even that is comforting. I have been cleaning out drawers, the den and washing windows just anything to keep busy and I try not to listen to the news to often. I still can't figure out the love affair with toilet paper. LOL
Love to you all and keep safe!
Deborah P ... I am so thrilled for you and such good news. My prayers go out to you.
