This might be a rough time for many of you. Do what you feel you need to do to get through it. Remember, someone is here almost all the time to talk to you.

Peace

Awwwww, no, thank all of YOU!

i am so happy everyone has started posting again. I came here often over the last few months, thinking maybe the emailed posts had gone into my junk folder. It is almost a reunion of sorts. YAY!!!

It sure makes a difference when you finally feel like you can call your place  is Home.  A big step for each one of us on this journey, especially when moving or relocating is involved.  Holidays in general are very stressful on their own, add to that memories of lost loved ones and you can loose what control you maintain.

So happy for you Mary Jane.

Mary Jane ...  So glad to hear you had a great time for your Thanksgiving and that you are beginning to feel that your house is your home now.  Way to go girl!

Melinda is such a sweetheart and hey, send her to me!  LOL

Hugs

Mary Jane, you are truly blessed with Melinda. Pass on hugs for her! And "yay!" that your house is now home.

As an aside:  formal military dinners often have a full place setting at a lone table aside from the main ones for "fallen comrades"; and all rise after the meal for a toast specifically to those fallen comrades.

I didn,t set Bob a place...but the dinner and company was great..Melinda did EVERYTHING...cleaned one day, cooked all day yesterday...but the big thing...this new house finally began to feel like my HOME.

Thanks everyone.

Mary Jane we always have a place for Greg in his normal place, after holiday dinner is over I remove the setting and anyone can sit there then

Mary Jane ...  No apologies needed.  I know you have a lot going on and I hope things calm down for you soon and 2020 is a great year for you.  So sorry to hear you are having so many issues happening at once.

Love ya back!

Sarah ...  I am praying your back is getting much better.  It's easy to sprain yourself.  I've been washing walls in the living room and painting and my back hurts also, but it's my mind saying 'yup you can do it' and my body protesting.  LOL  I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and you seem to have a great attitude about moving forward although you will never forget Ken.  I'm doing the same thing and trying to be thankful with what I have and the people in my life and this family here has been a lifeline to me as well.

Hugs

Mary Jane ...  I would speak with your daughter first.  We sometimes forget that others that new our spouses and especially in your case, father, it could upset some people.  If your daughter is OK with it then set a place setting on the side of the table and not at the head of the table.  Hope this helps and have a wonderful dinner.

Love ya

Marsha
