You are feeling just like many of us. I thought I couldn't live without my mother. I depended on her totally - emotionally.

I worried about her dying for about 30 years! I cried for years everytime I left her after a visit even though she was perfectly healthy. I said I wouldn't be able to live without her.

It's been three months. It has been so hard. But little things are happening to make me learn and grow through this pain.

Your Mom is watching and cheering for you. You will see her again, but until then, notice little things that you are thinking and know that through this pain, God is making you an even deeper and more compassionate person than you were before. I am sorry you have lost her, but you will be with her again and she is watching you still with love and she is happy and healthy.

I used to do the same thing, cry when I left her even thou she was fine. Never thought I could live without her, etc. Hardest thing I ever went thru & it did change me forever. But life is so so short & I want to get out there and enjoy it. We must be with the living! So I still visit my grief, but I refuse to allow it to ruin my life. It doesn't have to be that way. I think if anyone lives past 60 its all gravy. Thats a long life, not a tragedy when we pass. Remember it is all normal. We live, we die. There are horrible tragedies but dying past 60 is ok. Be happy they had that long. We'll all be with our lived ones sooner than later so go smell the spring tulips, visit your grief, visit your gone loved one, but live live live. Go think, smell, see, hear, and feel. Live is a gift from god, then we die, never, maybe never, being in this physical form again, so enjoy touching, seeing smelling and hearing. Get out there and hike, bike, have a great glass of wine, and celebrate life, celebrate death, but live live live.

I'm sorry your Mother passed,my Mom passed Oct 1 09 and I'm still heart broken. It take's time to learn to live without of Mother's. I'm not going to lie and tell you a bunch of untrue facts like some friends of mine. Everytime you think about her, she's in your heart! No one knows how bad we feel until it happens to them. I'll help you! I'm still standing, and our Mom's wouldn't want us to stop living. I have a 24 yr old Son & a wounderful Husband. Hang in there, I check this awesome sight 2 times a day, get some rest it does help in our healing. Take care Friend, we are here for each other.

I am sorry for your loss ... I also loss my mom (11/13/09) . I don't know when or if the saddness and emptiness goes away . I am at the point where I think it is even getting worse . I do agree with the repliy below mine .. No-one knows what this feels like until they lose their mom, and her love is in your heart !! I firmly believe our moms would wantus to coninue our life's as if they were still physically here with us ! I know it is hard, but try and live each day in honor of your mom , continue to make her proud and keep her memory alive !
I lost my Dad 5 months ago and it still is so hard every single day. And I have no one to talk to about it. That's the hardest part, I think.
Shaylar, I am lost in that same lonley world & all alone. My precious Mom died May 8, 2006 & my Dad died Sept 3, 2008. Three days after losing my Dad, both of my sisters told me that they no longer wanted to be a part of my life! I have no friends & I am so thankful I found this website!!!
