Hi Everyone,
First of all, I can relate.. I lost my Dad on 2-6-08. My Mom followed him on 7-8-10. Then my sister's husband who I had known my whole life died 3 months after my Mom.. Not to mention my brother died on 7-6-91. So many important people in my life are gone now.. My family deals better than I do.. Even my sister who lost a mother and a husband all in 3 months is handling death better than me. My emotions run very deep. When I love someone and lose them to death I am scarred for the rest of my life.. I am taking it one day at a time.. I have lived with my parents most of my life. I took care of them in their time of need. They were always here. I am single without any real friends. Coming home to an empty house is hard.. They were a constant in my life and the rock I leaned on.. I could always depend on them.. I have turned to God for comfort.. I am going to church every Sunday now... I am keeping the faith that some day I will see them again. That keeps me going... I pray for all of you.. Talk to God, it does help.. Take Care!
Hugs,
Sue

Dear Sue,
I can feel your pain so clearly in your words. THANK goodness you are connected to your
church and with God. Some people don't have the comfort of faith.
I am getting through the loss of my 2 parents in a 3 1/2 month time span of one another
by knowing that I did the best for them while they were alive. It sounds like you did the same
for your folks. My Mom passed in Feb of this year.
A friend had checked in on me last Sunday. Asking how I was doing.
My response to her....
I am doing very well ~ Thank You. Ecclesiastes 3:1 - "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
Just as seasons come and go, so does death.... We can't stop seasons or death, we can only live in the today being the ~BEST~ of ourselves in that day. I appreciate your checking in on me. !!!!
If you can find some way to give of yourself Sue, that might help you in facing the deaths
that you have.
Thank you for the prayers and I offer many back to you and your family.
Sincerely
Debra
