I was looking at your afghan you had made of you son. I had one made for my also . My son was 19 when he passed away as you have read my post. He has been gone almost 3 years now. The other thing I did was I took 2 1/2 bags of my favorite cloths that he wore and a disk of pictures to a very good friend of my Mom and also of Mine and had a quilt made . It was suppose to be a queen size . It took here 2 years to finish this and it turned out to a King size quilt . It took her that long because everytime she started on it she would cry because she was also so close to my son but it turned out so beautiful that I would of not cared if it took her 5 years. The funny part of it is I did not cry but just a little bit because I felt so close so close to him more then I have since he passed away. I guess because I can see his pictures and touch his cloths all the time now when I walk in that room. I no that might sound silly but that is what it is.
