Heather was killed (shot twice) by her husband and then he shot and killed himself in front of my two granddaughters, ages 12 and 7 - I now have guardianship of them. Its so very hard for us all. I envision the murder happening and what Heather must have thought and felt - I can't seem to shake this - and it keeps me up many nights crying and in great pain. I keep re-living the horror - and how the kids must have felt and what they saw - its all so overwhelming ! I know she's in heaven with Jesus - but I miss her so much and her oldest daughter looks exactly like her. I pray to God our Father that He will continue to carry me through these months and years ahead.

My son was killed in a home invasion on JAN.28,2007, while visiting friends in another city.He had been out partying and drunk a little too much.I was told by police that he was sleep when they shot him 6 time. He never knew.Six young boys ages 21 to 23 on a killing spree. The other young man that was with my son got shot 22 times and survived. After recuperating he was able to give names and identify because he was from there and the police got them . He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. My heart has been heavy every since this has happen. That evening before my son had left my house saying where he was going and he will check on me as always to see if I am okay. Then I get a phone call at around 5:30 saying my son has been shot. I fell on my knees and asked God for this not to be true.I have not been right since. I've had 2 heart attacks...too much stress on me. Do you know how it feel to see your love one one minute and the next minute they are gone.He was my heart.Pray for my family and I as this day is coming near...thank you...Theresa

how can monsters break into a home and kill a defenceless girl as she lay sleeping in her bed. It breaks my heart that someone did this to my daughter, I want to die instead of her....

SOMEONE SHOT MY BROTHER MAY 12TH 2007 IN PARKHILL ON MY MOTHERS PORCH, MOTHERS DAY WAS THE NEXT DAY, LOOKING AT HIM LAYING THERE IN THE HOSPITAL WAS SHEER HORROR FOR ME, THEY HAD HIS EYES COVERED. 99.9% SAID HE WAS A GREAT GUY, BUT ALL IT TAKES IS 1% TO SNUFF OUT A LIFE. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF THE PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT IS LARGER THAN I. HE LEFT BEHIND 11 CHILDREN THAT CARRY SOME FEATURE OF HIS. IT IS ALWAYS A JOY TO SEE THEM, FOR THEY R ALL THAT WE HAVE LEFT OF HIM. I MISS MY BROTHER DEEPLY. HE USE TO OWN A BLUE EYED PITBULL, AND HE HAD A SNAKE AS WELL, AT ONE TIME. I AM TIRED OF MURDERERS THINKIN THAT IT IS OK TO KILL, WELL IT IS NOT OK AND U WILL ANSWER ONE DAY TO THE HIGHER POWER, JEHOVAH. HE KNOWS HOW ME AND MY FAMILY,S HEARTS HURT OVER THIS. SOMETIMES I GET SO ANGRY AT WHAT WAS DONE TO HIM, BECAUSE HE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE SHOT UP. (R.I.P PINKY) YOUR BIG SIS WILL ALWAYS HAVE U IN THE HEART. I THINK OF PINKY EVERYTIME I'M ON BROADWAY, OR BY THE AUTOZONE. LUV U BRO

Tim Blackburn, I failed to mention that our Christy is still missing, they think she is in the Ocala National Forest somewhere, they have had 4 or 5 searches out there, with out any luck in finding her. we moved from Ocala, Fla. in Nov. of last year ( '08 ) as we were in the process when this happened, we are only 8 hrs. away so we can be there fast if needed, we have been back often to meet with our detectives. we only pray that she will be found & have a Christian burial & have the justice she deserves.
god bless all of you & may we all find a way to have some measure of peace in our lives in the time we have left on this earth.

my prayers are with you. Tim Blackburn

My name is Tim Blackburn, my wife & i lost our 39 year old christy in the spring of '08. we think on april the 21st, that was the last time she was seen, she was with an abusive boyfriend, that we had only met once, she started dating him in feb. '08, we found out later that he had a prison record & that he had always been abusive to women, he should have been in prison still, but they keep turning the low lifes of this world out on parole. we didn't realize she was missing right away, then when we got concerned we were told by her best friend that she had gone to texas with someone named Billy, while trying to locate her in texas, time was wasted, we didn't know they had gone to texas for a week or so before the 21st of april, we found out his mothers address & went there numerous times, cars in the drive way but no one would come to the door, we left notes with our concerns for christy, by this time we had gone to the sheriffs dept. we thought she was still in texas, they contacted the police there & they started to try to locate her, we went back to the mothers house & this time she came to the door, we told her who we were & our concerns for our christy, she said they were in texas & she was worried about her son because she had not heard from him either, we found out later that she was lying, we think he was in the house then, as the car they had been traveling in was sitting in the driveway. we found out later she has protected him his entire life. this is just a capsule of what all happened & is happening, the detetives working our case are working hard to build a case against this lowlife, to get the D.A. to put before a grand jury. until then he is in prison on a habitual felony charge, they are also going to try him on a gun charge, that has been postponed many times, the latest the 24th of this month (august) to say it like it is, we like so many of you have been living a living hell, & it is so very hard to find interest in much of any thing, we do have our strong faith in god & without that i don't we could make it, it still hurts so bad, i don't know if any thing will ever take that away, (i think not) i have read a lot of these letters by other people on this site, (this is my 1st time on it) & i want you to know i will be praying for each & everyone of you. god bless.
