Our little guy was born the end of January & 3 days later the tumor (spindle cell sarcoma) was found in my husbands femur. In that time Nick had a thousand tests run, doctors coordinating, trip to multiple oncology facilities, medi-port placed for chemo, etc. We did these photos for birth announcements for D'Mitri and I was so glad we got the family shots, too. The morning after this photo shoot Nick was sitting on the sofa and the tumor had grown so large it snapped his leg in half. He fought so hard and lost his battle to sarcoma on May 11, 2013.
