Hi angela german shepards are nice. we had them when I was a kid. we have a bloodhound a basset and a mut named poochee.. she is getting older. 5 cats. and my ponies. I switched to raising pinto/welsh a few years back. of course that is 50/50 chance unless you get one that is homozygous which I eventually want. Problem is like the economy they have downturned. the market for foals is not there. but it was and i was lucky enouph to have been doing it then. since my son passed i wish i had spent any and all extra money on trips I just wasn't the trip kind I wish I had of been for him all these wishes and we can't do anything for them now. It is sad. can't imagine it being any sadder.... The welsh ladies are wealthy and clickish.... makes me wonder how the breed will continue here in the states when they are done. We went to a lovely show last fall where there were just the same bunch of folks no interest from the young crowd which is sad. Carrie L
Hi Angela pulled you up on the grief site. Noticed you were in England. Do you have welsh ponies? Do you ever see them over there. I have been raising them for years. Sorry you are on this site there are so many ... Life was better before death hit our families and our dearest part of our own beings. Carrie L
