I am currently reading "Confessions of A Grieving Christian: by Zig Ziglar. Zig's daughter and my husband died of the same diagnosis. Their death process was almost identical. Zig writes of his pain, sorrow, Love and Joy of knowing that his daughter is with Jesus, so is my beloved James.
In the book it says: she "stepped through the door of eternity and is now safely in the loving arms of God." That's a beautiful way to look at your loved ones death. I said of James: "he turned his eyes upon Jesus" and we sang that chorus at his Celebration of Life Service!!
Grief is a process, we don't get over it....we go through it with the hope of eternity and comfort with God. Jesus wept....so have no fear of your tears. God will wipe them away each and every time we cry.
