He took his own life. I'm not sure what's real after spending the past four days in the ICU.My best and only friend is gone, and I couldn't stop it, and I am so alone.See More

Hi Bruce. I am so sorry for your loss. Like you I have friends and family who have been kind and caring but I still feel so lost. I find myself talking to my partner Homer several times a day. I also talk to him before I go to sleep at night. I know this may sound a little crazy to some people but in some ways I feel he hears me. It also helps me feel a little better. I am almost 56 years old and I have never lived alone before. It has really been hard.
