Hi Cheryl,

As the years pass by - the pain will lessen - however, you will never forget the beautiful memories of your parents.  Some days are better then others and then sometimes things in life trigger a stronger emotion of the lost.

I lost my Dad in 2007 and it feels as if it just happen yesterday.  So many things he told me and so many powerful statements he made during his life  How, I miss him so - I am however, so grateful that he had a spiritual background as that is what has given me the comfort that I need in order to deal with his death during hard times. ( Romans 15:4).

My Dad had so much wisdom about LIFE - you can have all of the education in the world - however, my Dad just knew life and what it had to offer.  His belief system was tied into having a loving environment.  All he ever talked about was how much he loved my mother and his eyes would just glow - even at the age of 80 - he was so much in love with my mother.

Cheryl just take all of the loving memories of your parents and cherish them,  You obviously did as we have have been spiritually commanded to do - that is to "honor our parents" - (Exodus 20:12)  Take joy in looking at the pictures you have of your mother and father.  Only if you can - briefly listen to their favorite music.  I can only handle this ocassionally - depending on the song.  Your love for your parents will always be in your heart.  It will never go away,

Enjoy and treasure the memories!!
