Debra - I truly share your pain. I lost my only child, my 18 year daughter, in 2007. She too was in a car accident with her boyfriend driving the car. She had just started her freshman year of college and her future was so bright. I try to be thankful for the time I had with her, but I still miss her so much. I know how it is to force it out of your mind so that you can function, but then to feel guilty about doing that. My heart is with you!

Debra,
Thank you for your message and for caring. I attend a local grief group of parents who lost a child and it helps a little. We also had a candle lighting service at one of the local churches, it was sad but beautiful We were all connected through our children. The people here are wonderful and will listen anytime you need to talk. May God be with you, Gerry

I would love for you to share you Daughter with us, Do you have a memorial website that I can go to? when I read your post It brought tears to my eyes, 4 young people... Please feel free to post here any of your feelings, we are all in this together, and the only people that understand are other parents that are on the same road. I hold you close to my heart.
