Wow! You are right! I never saw that episode of ELR, but it is exactly how I feel, and now that she is gone, I will never have the chance. I have two sons and I think God gave me sons because I had to heal female relationships...me having a daughter would have been a repeat cycle if in my 20's, but now at 42, I crave a daughter.  I do show affection and love towards my boys, we are very close! So the cycle is somewhat broken, as with you! Thank You so much, made me teary reading it, accepting truth hurts but is freeing in the end :)
