Just  wanted to add that my  Dad was special to me too. I miss him too but I just go on for my son and grandchildren.

I   know your pain and a  void that can not be filled. Just keep faith and keep praying to God for strength to go on. And remember those girls need you.

  I have a  son and grandchildren and I don t know what I would do if not for them.

Dear Fiona,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. When you think about the lifetime you had with your father, a year is truly a short time. Give yourself permission to grieve. It is different for each one of us. And not at all uncommon for you to feel this way. My heart feels for your heart.

 

This is a very hard day for you, I hope you will be able to spend some time remembering the good memories. This may be so hard for you, but I pray you will find some comfort in this.
