Dear Gaynell, My heart is with you.  I believe that the sign of your phone lighting up was your son's way of being with you and sending you a messge that he is ok. I think that our children who have crossed over know are pain and if we open our hearts to love and God we will feel them near.  If you go to my website I have a story of the phone messages I believe were sent from my son Jon it is www.thechildwelost.com  at google. I too lost my son in a tragedy.  I pray that one day I will have the answers.  I know that anger destroys, so I have prayed for peace and God has blessed me. Thank you for adding me as a friend.  Susan Casadei

Oh Gaynell, I am so sorry for your loss.  The only thing I can think of that would be worse than loosing your parents is loosing a child.

I  am so sorry for your loss.  I too lost my son.  He was 20 years old. I also have a website where parents can share stories of the connections or messages they have experienced from the child they lost.  It is a google at www.thechildwelost.com. God bless you and your family.

Hello Gaynell,

My heart does go out to you.  Death is a very hard experience for all of us to handle and a very painful emotions for all of us to deal with.  One thing you do have is the memories of your love ones to treasure - knowing that they are resting in a better place.  Ecclesiastes 9:5.

We can all can seek out comfort from the Bible and the hope that God has in store for all of our love ones in his memory.  (Romans 15:4).  (John 5:28,29).   God has promised us so much more then what we have come to  know of this life.  In Revelation 21:3,4 - he speaks of a time where death will be no more, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore --the former things have pass away."

So, when we seek comfort from the Scriptures and know that it is the word of God - our God who can not lie (Titus 1:2)  we come to realize that shortly all painful things and events will be done away with that exist in this wicked system of things.

So, take delight in knowing that you have a loving creator who is aware of your pain and will shortly bring an end to the needless suffering and pain that we encounter when our love one pass-away.  Do take care of yourself....and treasure all of the good memories of your dear-love ones.

My heart is screaming no God

Everything I live for

Has been taken from me

My loves My Life

How am I to go on

I still cannot beleive

What am I to do now

They were everything to me

So here I just wrote this

I read your story today

I've been where you are

Maybe in a different way

God Bless every step you take

For it will not get any easier

But time will help day to…
