Hello Inez. I first want to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy. It is like the worst feeling in the world, one that can be hard to explain, and one is wish not to experience again. But there is nothing wrong with you Inez. Grief is a normal reaction to loss and different people handle their grief in different ways.
What helped me through such difficult times were the promises found in the Bible. My favorite scripture at Revelation 21:4 says that God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Also Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” So God promises to end death and bring back to life those who have died. We can put our trust in this because the Bible says God can not lie. (Titus 1:2) It also says that he has a yearning to do so. Isn’t that comforting to know? So in the mean time Inez, do as 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us to do and that is to “throw all YOUR anxiety upon him, because he cares for YOU.”
I HAVE LOST MY HUSBAND ON THE 27TH OF SEPTEMBER TO CANCER. I DID A LOT OF CRYING THE DAYS THAT HE WAS HERE AT HOME JUST BEFORE HIS PASSING.BUT JUST AT THAT MOMENT THAT HE HAD PASSED ON I REMEMBER CRYING A LITTLE BIT, THEN AFTER THAT I COULDNT CRY ANY MORE. DONT GET ME WRONG I WAS HURTING DEEP INSIDE I HAD THIS FEELING COME OVER ME ONE THAT I CANT EXPLAIN IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER FEELING I HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE. THIS FEELING HASNT LEFT ME EITHER I STILL HAVE IT. WHATS WRONG WITH ME?
