Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my son this year, too, on Valentine's Day. We have a long road ahead of us, but this group is very supportive. Please take care of yourself.

I think the hardest part for me is remembering my 26 year old son lying in that hospital bed and watching him take his final breath. I wish I could get those images out of my head, then maybe I could move forward...

Thanks for your encouragement, my son was passing
a flatbed truck when someone made an improper left turn in front of him, he tried to stop, but hit the car and then went airborne and hit a tree limb. He died instantly, multiple blunt force trauma. I know he is at peace with God and I
would not have wanted him to suffer or be an invalid for life.
I really miss him though. My faith is sustaining me through
this difficult time in life.

Jackie, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your son. My son was also killed in a motorcycle accident on June 7, 2008, he was 30 years old. It still hurts as if it was yesterday, I miss him so much. We were also very close and talked several times a day. He left behind 3 beautiful daughters. You are new to your journey and it's not an easy one we travel. Be kind to yourself and take care.
