Hi Jan, Sharon Stricklen here, I too lost my husband a year ago and I know how you are feeling. It is so hard and although we try to do everyday things, it is not quite the same. We were together 19 years as well and I miss him so much that it hurts, I know that I must go forward and I guess I have been doing alright but behind closed doors is a different story you know. One thing that I do that has helped somewhat is send a balloon up to him any time I feel like it. Might sound silly but it brings me joy. I do have a strong faith which I find comfort in but the sence of loss is always there. Jan, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. I also read lots of spiritual books and continue to search for some sense of this hardship. I still talk to him and have to believe he is watching over me. God bless you and keep you in his care until you are reunited with your loving husband.
