Welcome Joan. I keep telling you to be strong and there are many of us who will validate all your emotions. Take care of yourself. Jeff would want you to.

Hello Joan, hope joining this group will help you as much as it has me. My wife Karen pssssed away 28 months ago and I still talk to her. Only now do I realize why my Mom kept a sweater that was my Dads and wore it in the house on chilly nights.

Joan, I m so sorry for your loss and even sorrier you had to join us.  You will find there are no right or wrong answers and there are no timeframes in which you have or need to follow.  Your emotions are on a roller coster and unless you have walked in our shoes no one will ever understand what we are going through. Do whatever makes you feel good.  My Uncle died over 20 years ago and when my husband passed my Aunt shared things with me I never knew she was going through and one of these things was you will never forget and you will never get over it. You adjust your life to accommodate your current situation.

Joan, stay strong it is about you now and whatever you feel you need to do just do it, but remember to do it for YOU.  Hugs, Jane P.
