Jolene, I understand your pain and sometimes , we need to be in touch with our emotions to try to suppress then will only cause them to surface at a later date.  However, please rest assure your Mom is not in any sort of pain but she is resting.  She is in God's Memory.  Ecclesiastes 9:5. 

Moving on will require some times and no one can feel your pain and know exactly how you feel - even if they themselves lost one or both of their parents.  Each death is different and your bond that you had with your mother - is what is so unique.  No two people shares the exacts same relationship with their parents as others - we are unqiue and have been exposes to verious things in life.  So, when you are ready to move on - you will.
