Hello, I just read your post and wanted to say that your belief that there is nothing but light and sunshine and happiness in heaven is pretty accurate.  I look up into the sky and I picture my husband and I together there, he being healthy again, younger and smiling.  A translation from the Bible says that when you arrive in heaven you go back to when you were younger, usually mid 30's, and you are strong again and vibrant.  It is the most beautiful picture.  I find it very comforting.   I lost my Jack last August after 39 years of marriage.  I call it losing half of my essence.   I do know though that he is still part of me forever and taking care of me. 

Have you been on the Bereaved spouses website at all?  there is so much support there.
