Hi Karen,my name is Elaine and I can and do feel what you are feeling. Hurt, pain, heartache and angry at sometimes. My son Kris use to rely on Red Bull to keep himself woke to drive home. My words to him was Kris the Red Bull would one day get immuned to your body and won't work any more. He replied Ma it works. I am not saying that this was the problem but like the State Trooper stated that the peaceful look that was on his face it seems liked he felled to sleep behind the steering wheel. I said know because Kris was a great driver, not thinking that his mind and body was tired. But yes it will take time for grieving. Its been three years for me and I still feel the heartache and pain. I use to say no one knows the hurt and pain that I feels. Now I know that I am not alone. But we just have to keep praying and asking God to give us strength to move,or go on. This is something we would never forget, but we can ask for strength to keep going on with the rest of the family members. I have a very good supporting family, pastor and friends. I thank God for them everyday. So Karen I am glad that someone thought about this group dissussion so that evryone could be on one accord. We all know how each feel with the pain and heartache that we carring for so long. Because I tell everyone that losing a child is so much a different pain from from like losing a sibbling, mother, father,or any other family member. So karen just write when you feel like talking or you get lonely, or like I do cry. We are here for you The Loss of a Child Group. Elaine
