Dearest Lorie,
Yes, I too would give anything to have Linda & Lisa back & healthy again. But, you & I both know that is not going to happen for us. I miss them & loved them more than I have words to tell just as you did your Kristy. But, here's how I get through each day. I remember I still have one daughter, a grandaughter & a grandson. I try to concentrate on them. My 3 daughters were very good friends so my remaining daughter not only lost her sisters but her best friends. "It is what it is" & it isn't going to change no matter bad how we feel. I agree it is difficult to think positive about our losses & I wouldn't imagine God would expect that of us right now. Let's just learn to accept it first. Then we will worry about feeling positive about things. Keep writing. I helps. I am so sorry for us.
Love, Shirley
Dearest Lorie,
I am so sorry about your wonderful daughter. I have lost 2 of my 3 daughters in the past 13 mos. It's the most awful pain imaginable. I understand as do all these other mothers. I have said & I believe as you do that everything is for a reason but you have to keep believing that & realize there was nothing you could have done to change it. I am so sorry. Just keep writing to us. That is wonderful therapy.
Much, much love, Shirley
