I am so sorry, Maureen.  I lost my husband on June 26, 2012, so I'm 7 months into this grief journey, and it isn't better.  People will say things to you, some are trying to help and some are just insensitive. Ignore them...we all have to do this at our own pace,  I hope you get strength, from wherever & whoever you can.  Just take it day by day, hour by hour, my thoughts are with you...I DO know and understand.
