Dearest Nelda,
Yes, there are many people going thru what we're going thru. Just today I was watching Oprah & a couple were on her program who lost all 3 of their small children in a horrific traffic accident 3 1/2 years ago which happened only about 30 miles from where I live. I remember the accident well & I felt so sorry for the family however, I had no idea how they felt til I lost my daughters. I find it very theraputic to hear how other mothers & fathers manage to survive such horrible events in their lives. I know if you & I can survive this, we can survive ANYTHING life throws at us! That is some consolation, at least to me. Hang on.
Love, Shirley

Dearest Nelda,
We here on this site can all relate to your pain & we are so sorry for you. I lost 2 of my daughters with cancer within a 7 month period, one in 2009 & one in 2010. I really don't know how you get through it. Someway, the time passes & you have no idea how you are managing but you do. Sometimes I feel I am living in denial & when it comes into my mind again, I cannot believe it has really happened. However, I read something recently which said, "For those who suffer the greatest loss God grants the deepest peace." Maybe that's true. I certainly don't believe there could ever be a greater loss than losing a child. Hang on.
I wish you love & peace, Shirley
