Rebecca,  Do you have anyone in your family who can help you?  Or a close friend?  I know depression, especially since I lost my son in June of '09.  It  hurts more now that when it happened.  I believe I was in shock...it numbed some of the pain at the time, because I probably would have died too.  Feel free to write to all of us here...hopefully someone can help you.  We are all here for you.  Hugs, Janet

Hi Rebecca,it's normal to feel like you're all alone and life is upside down but know for a surety that God has soldiers posed at your door ready to help you feel better and i'm one of those soldiers:Rebecca your heart is torn and you feel at loss and this will drive you crazy but believe that life has an upside when you lose your child & that is your heart and you can raise up and make a stand for who you are by examining your life with your child and thinking what would my baby want for me to do in this situation? and it sure is not for you to be so down that you consume yourself feeling as life has nothing for you, there is so much love that awaits you if you can see thru the maze of confusion that bogs you down trying to destroy you,let nothing separate you from the love of your child by making you feel inadequate,God has woven you intricately inside and out and you have the ability to rise and not fall into despair about who you're not and you're a great mom who lost the love of her life but that love still resides in your heart day by day so let the light of your baby shine in you and smile as your baby smiles with you for I know my daughter loves me so much that she don't want her daddy sad for she was a happy human being while she lived and think of all the good things you shared and let the love shine thru to make you smile and that will give you grounds to live vibrant for another day.Be Blessed

Hi rebecca, I read the comments from time to time. My wife and I lost our little boy just over a year now. I can't imagine 17 yrs without my son. This has truly gutted who I am and what I think about god. I just wanted to say that you're not allow as I have found that out here. Please feel free to vent over here.. I tend to do it myself. I hope you find some peace tonight. Ill keep you in my prayers.... Karl
