Hi Rebecca; So sorry for your loss, I also recently lost my partner of 36 years on March 12, 2013. I'm very fortunate to have a wonderful and support groups of friends, but they just can't understand what the loss of a partner feels like. They are all grieving for the loss of a friend. I'm grieving for that also, in addition to a lover and confident.

Sometimes the void is so great that it actually hurts.
