I lost my father on SuperBowl Sunday just after halftime, after a very very short 11 days finding out he had cancer. My whole life of 43 years all squeezed into those few days as he wasn’t active in my life growing up. So many things to say, so many emotions... hurt, anger, love, compassion, forgiveness and sadness. I seem to be ok as long as I am staying busy but every evening when things settle, I find myself going through every stage of Grief there is, just to repeat it all again tomorrow. It’s only been 4 days and it feels like I’m still functioning on auto pilot and have no recollection of the past few days since he passed. I’m so afraid of everything now, afraid of dying, afraid of being in pain, afraid of being alone, afraid of my family hurting when it’s my time to go..... I just can’t wrap my head around it ....
