Daddy girl,
Your Fathers love will always be with you His laughter, wisdom, advice and thoughtfulness are gifts of love that are yours to keep, use these gifts to help yourself grieve as you think on each one you will gain needed strength.
Oh Kathy, that brought encouraging tears to my eyes. My soul is so sad right now, a few friends have told me that I will know Daddy's around just by what someone tells me ( You just did that ) also I was told that there will be a certain way the wind blows, I will know it's Daddy.. Kathy I love my Daddy so much, & I just was not ready for him to go!! Mom told me yesterday that she found 2 cards on his desk, one was for my birthday which was in February & one for Valentine's day he never signed them, I was touched when she said she found them on his desk. I know I mentioned this before but Daddy passed January 18,2010 on his birthday. I hope he knows that I love him dealy & I truly miss him!!
Daddy's girl,
Don't fell selfish it is normal to feel this way its a part of the grieving process.Sometimes people feel they will not live and sometimes they don't .For now you Dad has fell asleep in death, he was a blessed man to have you as a daughter. I will pray for you to have strength and comfort and courage each day The Bible assures us: “God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18)
Daddy's girl,
Sometimes people don't know how sick they are could this have been prevented? No, don't beat yourself. I certainly hope that the help God can give at this time will make a difference continue in prayer. During your time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your Dad.Many words will be expressed, yet we know God can and will express and provide to you and your family everything that is needed to care and sustain your hearts at this sad time. -. Isaiah 41:10,13.
Good Morning! I just found this web site & It's good to know that there is something like this is out here. I lost my father on his birthday January 18,2010. I never knew that heartache felt like this..I miss him so much, sometimes I feel like I'm crazy because I find myself asking dad "why didn't you tell me you didn't feel good"? Dad fell sick on December 13, he was rushed to the hospital & we were told he suffered a massive stroke & then the stroke brought on a heart attack. He was not alert the entire month & few days. Finally we got the call that dad had passed away around 3:00 a.m. on January 18. I feel so lost. I know that no one is really for a loved one to go but I just was not ready for my daddy to go. I ask myself could this have been prevented? :-(
