Thank you so much for you understanding. May 15th was 7 months since I lost Neal. He had lung cancer which in 5 months spread to his liver, bones and his brain. Five months from the time we were told about the cancer Neal was gone. Hardly time to get used to the diagnoses and then he is gone. Having to watch what the cancer did to him, knowing that he would soon be gone it was and is just so devasting. I know that when someone dies people tend to put that person on a pedistal. But I know that Neal had his bad points and I had mine in our marriage, but it was a good marriage. He was my protector, a good provider, a wonderful Daddy and Grandfather and a very good husband. We had 40 years 8 months of marriage. It was like it was Neal and I against the world. We were so in love and had so many plans for the future. But now what am I suppose to do? I am so glad I found this site with people whom I can share my feelings and everyone really understands what I feel and am going through.

Terri,

I read your post regarding  garage sale, finances & emotional turmoil. It's an awful situation to find ourselves in. No words, just an e-HUG & prayers, Christy

Terri, please ignore this rose person. She pops up on all our pages eventually but we have found it is just some scam thing or something and not worthy of worrying about. Anytime you see one of these (like dating things or whatever) don't let it bother you. we've had several "discussions" about them and have agreed as a whole not to give them any of our valuable time. It isn't worth the energy. Just wanted to give you the heads up as soon as I saw she got you quick...

Hi Terri, I am sorry for your loss but I am glad you found us. I have found alot of comfort here and made some terrific friends. Like Kathy said, it will be a rollar coaster ride. I lost my husband on Oct. 21,2010 to lung cancer that spred. We were married 38 yrs. This is the hardest part of life I have ever faced. I miss Jim so much. So be kind to yourself. We will be here with and for you. We'll listen to you, and we will understand. Hugs.

Welcome to our support group. Feel free to share any feelings you have, good bad crazy anything. We have all been there in various forms. My dear husband has been gone for 11 months and the pain feels as fresh as in the beginning. It will be a roller coaster ride of lots of ups and downs. Take care of yourself. That is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Know that we are here for you with lots of hugs..

Terri Im so sorry for your loss your husband sounds like a amazing man, our family was a his hers and mine combination our son the one that died was our only child together, I lost my father in august to cancer but he was 87 and was so ready to leave this earth but it hurts still the same.  This place has been a miracle for me you will find that people that have lost their spouses will know what to say to get you thru another day even though they are going thru the same pain as you are, I still feel my son and he send me messages all the time Im sure your husband will do the same it sounds like you both were soul mates and even death can't separate that.

Best wishes
