Hi I'm Tina and I am new to the site. My daughter Sammi is terminal with Osteosacroma cancer which has spread to her bones and lungs. Sammi was in remmission 2.5 yrs when this beast came back this May. Sammi did extensive chemo to no avail, her tumors kept spreading. My beautiful 15 yrd old child is now on Hospice Care through Kaiser. I was told that I need to surrond myself with other people who are or have gone through the same thing.. All I want to know is why our babies. I sleep with her…

Dear Tina, I would like to let you know that I think of you; I hope with my whole heart that Sammi is not in pain. If we could only be able to take the pain that our kids are experiencing. All my love.

Tina, How are you coping?? I'm always saddened when the child that passed is young. My son dies suddenly at the age of 27. 15 is too young... 27 is too young. I"m grieving for my son and hopefully this site helps you.

Tina:  I a so sorry about your daughter i lost my son in a auto accident in  november 2010 so I am still in the numb stage they say.  All I an tell you is

to let her know how much you love her and how glad you are that God chose you to be her mother.  I didn't get to say goodbye to my son he died less than 500 ft from our house but he did on impact , I can tell you that this site has helped me so much, family and friends will try to comfort you and be supportive but if they haven't lost a child they won't kknow that hurt.  I will pray for both of you and know you can come on here anytime and cry scream and say whatever you want.

I am a mother of a beautiful 15 yrs old who is dying from Osteosarcoma cancer. Sammi is her name and she was in remission 2.5 yrs from this beast when he came back in May since then Sammi has endured 3 hard rounds of chemo which wiped her out and 4 rounds of pallative chemo. Nothing helped the tumors keep growing she had in Nov, 8 lung and the tumor in sacrum and spine and femur.

My fight for Sammi is to help communites to set up a Pediatric Hospice Center we have nothing for our children, oh yah in other counties how sad a child is dying and since you don't live in the area they can't help. Or they give you a Hospice that can not understand the difference between a 15 yrd terminal child and a 65 yrd terminal adult.

We are blessed that our hospital was able to provide us with caring nurses to take of Sammi.
