What a handsome guy....so sorry for your loss. I lost my partner to a sudden heart attack a little over a year ago now. We were both 47 at the time.
People mean well and I felt angry all the time when others who had no clue what I was going through offered advice. You'll learn a lot about people in the next few months--good and bad. Your life will never be the same. Your life is going to go in a direction you never realized and believe it or not, that's not a bad thing. So while you'll never forget him, your thoughts about him sort of shift from utter sadness and loneliness to fond memories.
There are no words that will comfort you right now but just know that many of us have been in the same position as you which I hope brings a little comfort.
Cry lots, yell and scream....it's probably the best thing you can do right now.
