Hi Vicky, I just wanted to check on you and make sure you are ok. I know the month of March had to be hard on you. I wish we could meet, our lives our so similar. Talk about great support if we were close together. How is your grandson doing and yourself? Let me know, been thinking about you two. Diane(Shelly's mom)

Hi Vicky that is a very good idea to focus on god. Bless you. Every morning it is very hard. I liked your words. I should read my bible. I do sometimes and picked up my guitar that was sweet He loved the guitar. He loved everything. I am sorry I can't leave the sadness. that is so neat you have things she made as a child to put on the tree that would make me happy also. thanks for the kind words your friend carrie L

Vicky I am so sorry. yours is tragic like mine. and i am here so we can cry together. It happens all the time for everything probably as you know reminds me of him. and now.. what.. well You are lucky to have your child her child to care for. I don't know how to advise you of the childs thoughts .. it is very difficult for you will be the childs mom not your daughter but they are so inquisitive... i think you will do fine. sorry i found you on here with such tragic news.. i also am living it. I would love it if he had a child but he didn't .. and raising a child is hard. i wish i had of made it more normal for them but I was stressed and didn't give it my best shot.. he loved me and i loved him and still do. i cannot believe he is gone. but forever in my heart. love to you at christmas and new years and give him a hug... carrie L

Vicky, how are you doing? I hate this time of year. It's a difficult time for me as it is for you. Just wanted to say hi.  Diane (Shelly's mom)

How are you doing Vicky, I know this time of year is extremely difficult. Alot of pretending and just not ever feeling it. I pray for you at this time. Be strong for your grandson. He's adorable. God blessed you with him and me with Jaden. Always talk about his mom so he'll remember her.

Your loss is so much like mine. My grandson is now 8 yrs old. His mom died when he was 3. He sure has a lot of questions at this age. I keep a big box of all his mom's special things and I share this with him when the questions come. Only the few of us know this pain, this unbearable pain. when people ask if it gets any easier, the answer is NO, it just becomes a different kind of existance, a whole different kind of living without your child in it, just different... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Your profile pic is beautiful. Shelly's mom, Diane
