Hello Carol,

You are so right - this is a very hard thing to go through, and it being only three months since your loss of your husband, I understand and remember the way I felt then - I had not yet found Legacy, and was dealing with friends and family who were truing their best to console me, but they just couldn't fathom the depth of my loneliness and grief. That is what is so wonderful about finding people here who understand our feelings.

I hope there will be people in your "real" life who can give you the support and comfort you need, and that you will bring to us here anything you want to ask about, or just to express yourself where your words will be accepted without judgement. I think of us as all walking our own paths through our grief, with differing origins and destinations - but all leading in the same direction and close enough that we can help each other over any obstacles, and caution against dangerous terrain ahead.

Nice to have someone from Michigan, it surprise's me the range of peoples location. This is one of the things the internet is good for. Where is Stanwood? I see you lost your spouse 3 months ago. I lost my wife almost 6 months ago. I have found it is helpful to post on here, it's nice to have people who understand what you are going through. There's no great answers anyone can give, but a shoulder to lean on is nice. Hope you me and everyone on here finds some of that peace of mind.
