At 6:20pm on February 26, 2012, ELOY CONRAD DURAN II said…: It is now not a so unbelievable but a real blessing that moms and dads who have had their children murdered...have the mindset, civility and god spirit in their hearts, minds, and souls...not to deliver just punishment...kill their childrens takers of their precious angels...imagine if we all were to pay them spineless demonic-like animals/thugs back...an eye for an eye !!! Although I have spoken to over a hundred moms and dads who thought about this grim scenario..they/we will not...and cannot do such a heinous and immoral act !!! I thank my structured and sound family values as well as my catholic faith...but boy I sure felt like taking the law into my own hands, especially after when I read the gruesome autopsy report, and saw this animal get a NO JUSTICE SERVED non- punishment conviction of 6yrs in a boys home called the Youthful Offender System here in Colorado...and to top it off...no one else will pay, even though my son fought for his life, knocking out 7-8 of them thugs...he was jumped by 15 gang members who brutally beat my son to near death...that is when Jovani Muniz put a sword through my sons heart !!! I hope god forgives us who were forced into a new world of utter-loss and grief and sorrow and unforgiving 24/7 daily thoughts of negativism and hatred of our laws and some other human beings,who actively act daily just like animals, no sense of what life is really about, no structure, no education, no knowledge to have the sacred wisdom of what the love of life is really all about !!! I'm done...

He was such a warrior. He battled his illness with faith and incredible determination. He was a teacher and was ready to do his student teaching. He was so proud of his accomplishments, yet, his life and dreams were cut short. I must tell you that grief sucks. Yes, it does. However, our children would have wanted us to continue living and that's why I am encouraging you to persevere. To grieve accordingly. And don't feel guilty about it. I know that it does get easier. I still dont know who killed him or why. He is a cold case file, and it seems like no one really cares or does anything about it.
I would recommend that you get on line and go to www.pomc.org and see if there is a parents of murdered children chapter in your area. On the website there is a telephone number that you can call and speak to someone as well. this Saturday is the national day of Remembrance for victims of murder, so light a candle or have a ceremoney fwith friends and family to honor him.

I had to put myself in a phyic ward cause i couldn't cope i spent 3 days and attend there meeting which help alittle understanding what others have gone through losing a child.I had this lady from hospice and the doctor tell me we know what you are feeling and going through.I looked a them and said you both lost a child? they both said no. My reply was how in the hell do you know how I am feeling and what I am going through you don't know so don't tell us you do!!unless you have gone through it like we have.Dee Dee I know you pain as you mine the hole in our hearts that will never heal.I am hear for you when ever you want to talk my friend. God Bless You
