Dear Loree, This site is wonderful for talking out feelings, however it doesn't replace nor should it be meant for counseling~ I sought out counseling asap after losing my mom... and after the immediate short term counseling, i continued to find another. It truly depends on an individuals needs. I recognized my grief went into much more than i could comprehend. PTSD. Really dear, these wonderful people are all over.. search the net.. and if your without insurance there are also those who are free or will charge according to your income. Blessings to u dear, and you will get thru this period. Please find someone to help u for your immediate grief.
Prayers and Gods blessings to u.
I was drawn to write to you because of the beautiful words you wrote about your Mother as you share the stories and the memories of how she lived life and how very much she meant to you, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family The Bible assures us: “God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always. I also lost my mother in death and no words can express the hurt and anguish nor touch on how you feel but God shares your tears and gives the family His love.
