Margie, I hate what we are going through. I think it's rare to find another person who can relate to spending ALL their time with their spouse as we did. He was my best friend- we did everything together! I haven't been to the grocery store by myself in almost 8 years so when I loaded my groceries into the truck the other night I cried uncontrollably. People were getting in their cars & I know they were wondering what was wrong. I sometimes want to wear a sign that says " My love, my husband & best friend just died so quit looking at me!" I look a mess by the way. The rest of the world, even Larry's family members, just don't have a clue how hard it is to wake up & go about my day without him. I hope that you can start putting some of the time & energy you spent on caring for your husband into caring for yourself. I guess I should do the same, although Larry took care of me more than I took care of him I think! God help us-HUGS, Christy
