With this new virus - we are cautioned from all angles to be careful. If we follow the advise at Proverbs 27:12 - "The shrewd person sees the danger and conceals himself, But the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences."
We all know the danger involved by not protecting ourselves from this virus and we also know that the constant barrage of "media hype" can bring about undue anxiety. What we can do is keep a calm heart and do what is medically sound to do to…Continue

Another day, another count of those who have lost their lives to this new and deadly virus - COVID-19. However, is this all there is to life? The comings and goings, the up and the downs. No! For those who believe that we have a God - a higher being - this is not the life he has intended for mankind to live.
Read Isaiah 33:24 where it states "And no resident will say: "I am sick." The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error. Also we can read Psalms 37:…Continue

Life as we know it - is truly a gift from God! How we use that gift is a personal choice and decision. Absent of life is death - which will in time befall us all. When we lose our loved one to death - the pain is one which can't be compared to any other emotional pain or hurt. It pull at the innermost cord of our emotions and stir up a sense of emotional lost.
However, death, is not the end of it all. We are promised a time where all of the pain and suffering of today will…Continue

When we loose a love one - how beautiful it is to know that we can reflect and cherish those memories that brings a smile to our face. The gift can replay itself over and over again; we laugh, we cry, and we rest for those thoughts that goes back to the days when our love one was there by our side. How, I miss my Dad....but I often replay the memories of a younger father - with energy and spunk. His wise counsel that aided me in making wiser decisions.
Life as we know it now is…Continue

Death to most people seems to be the most unnormal event we deal with in life. Yet, some are surprised to learn that it was not our Heavenly Father intention or purpose for mankind to live and die. He created man to live under perfect conditions and also to live forever. (Genesis 1:22)
As we see from history and the account in the Bible - mankind sinned and therefore death entered into the world. But, can you imagine a life free of sin and death? The ability to live forever was…Continue

We will all receive sooner or later an invitation to attend a Memorial followed by a "Celebration Of Life" for the loss of a loved one. Why not celebrate life as the beautiful gift that it is as given to us by our Heavenly Father. (Romans 12:6)
Life is the most beautiful gift - given to us by our Heavenly Father - Revelation 4:11. Just take a look at all of the beautiful creation around us.....the trees, flowers, birds, lakes, and oceans. Know that while we are in the…Continue

What can we learn from the lost of our love one? What insight does the lost of our love one gives us? What about living in the NOW. What about praising in the NOW. What about saying those things that when one falls deep into a sleep can no longer hear you. (Eccl 9:5). What about the hugs and kisses and beautiful thoughts of that person being express to them now while they can hear it.
How often do we hear - "just one more day" or "just one more hour" or "just one more hug."…Continue

As a little girl - I often wondered about a few things in life - but one thing I wondered about - was why do we die? Why can't we live forever now? It took a long while before I became knowledgeable about why we die. Through our first parents Adam and Eve disobedience to our Heavenly Father and the command they were given in regards to the forbidden fruit. (Genesis 2:16,17) Due to them disobeying our Creator mankind has been inflicted with pain, suffering, and death. (Romans…Continue

I lost both of my parents to death, and I just have this deep void. A sense of being without a parent. It is so hard to explain the void and how I yearn to be in their company again. Realistically, I know they have fallen asleep in death (Eccl 9:5). But in my heart, I yearn to hear their voice.
I know and am aware of the condition of the dead - but my heart sometimes does not want to register the reality of the situation. I want to feel as if I would see them in this life…Continue

So often we hear the doubts and speculation in respects to the dead. I knew from the very beginning I wanted to know - where is my love one headed. I did not want a guess or a maybe for an answer. I wanted to know where can I find the true answer as to the dead condition. For I have several loved ones that have fallen asleep in death.
I have received so much comfort from that book that is the one most circulated book in the world and that book is the Bible. It gives us so much…Continue

So many times we hear the pain associated with the loss of a loved one to be filled with so much dread and anxiety in respects to why, how, and where are their loved one headed after death. However, I find so much peace and comfort from the scriptures as it allows us to peer into the truth in respects to the condition of the dead. Our love one is as in a deep sleep - away from any more pain and sorrow; they are not burning in agony or suffering in so far remote no-where. (Eccl…Continue

Death is and always will be the enemy of mankind. It was not our Heavenly Father original purpose for mankind to live, grow old and then die. The pain associated with the loss of one's love one is so deep and unending that it is indescribable if one tries to describe the level and intensity of the pain. Just knowing that you will not see your love one tomorrow or to even be able to speak with them - leaves a high-level of disbelief to the situation. You pulled their last voice mail - you…Continue

In light of all of the senseless crime, violence, and horrific tradegies - one has to question - where is this all going and what hope do we have for the love ones that we lost?.

Death....the final stage of our imperfect live brings about so many emotions...the most painful one is grief. With the passing of each of our love ones we need to embrace life in such a way where --we love now.
Why love now? Once a person dies they cant hear your lost words, your missed kisses, your empty hugs, or see your tearful pain. So, why not love to the fullest now. Everything about our Heavenly Father is based on "Love." (1 John 4:8)
If we love now to the fullest -…Continue
When we loose a love one - we do have their memories embedded in our heart. We never forget the times, moments and conversations we shared with them.
When our loved ones die, we mourn. And we may ask: ‘What has happened to them? Are they suffering? Are they watching over us? Can we help them? Will we ever see them again?’ However, God tell us what we can expect when we die. The comfort I gain when loosing a love one has always stem from what is written in the Bible (2 Timothy…Continue

Death is a subject that is a reality to all of us.
We all have various means in which we cope with the loss of a love one.
However, how do we try to understand and show compassion during these hard times eventhough their belief system may be a little different from our. Showing love and compassion can do more for a person when they are grieving then trying to pull them over into your belief pattern in respect to the dead. (1 John 4:8) Sometimes, just a hug will go a long…Continue
