When I close my eyes, in the still of the night,

I can almost feel your arms wrapped around me so tight.

I can hear your voice whisper in my ear

"You're my precious baby and I'll always be near."

The pain I feel I can hardly comprehend

But the love you've given will help my heart to mend.
