a subtle message from beyond
we loved to watch the birds in the back yard; our home in a coldesack of a large neighborhood.
on the morning of his memorial service a male pheasant appeared in the backyard. in eleven years this was a first.
i felt this was a sign that all was ok, and i did some research on pheasants. they are an air totem.
"If air animal totems are catching your attention, you should feel very heartened by their presence. Allow their spirit to boost your confidence, and remind you that the ultimate power is within this present, unseen moment. Air animals are good omens, and their appearance is like a wink from God."
sometimes signs are given we just have to see and that can be hard in the midst of grieving.
