Lisa,

How fortunate you are to have Daniel come to you in a dream! He is letting you know that he can see you from heaven.

I'm sorry that your husband was in that accident. Don't be afraid to let your younger son work - it would probably make him feel very good to help his parents during this difficult time. Take good care of your husband so he can heal and recover. I will say a prayer for you both.

I will ask my daughter to tell me how she made the memorial page on Facebook for my son, so that you can make one for Daniel. It will be a place where you can put your favorite photos, and his friends can leave comments there. Daniel sounds like he was a very special young man. God bless your family.

Debbie

Lisa:  My heart goes out to you, I can understand where you are coming from all of us can, but I just wanted to tell you my two sisters were killed when I was almost 3 i was in the wreck and the only survior after that my mom shielded me like you want to do to your son now, I didn't know anything about the world until after she died i was 23 i went totally wild and was pregnant in less than 6 months after her death, but i didn't shield my youngest son that much his 3 older siblings kept telling me how i didn't let them do anything and they had to sneak around so i gave jonathan more room and knew he was doing things that a 17 year old shouldn't be doing, the day he was killed i saw him at 2:30 and he was dead at 3:40 all his friends swear that he didn't do anything that day except 2 shots of vodka but for some reason he went into another drivers lane and hit headone killing my son maybe if i was a little more stricker he would still  be here, love your other son and let him help your family but just let him know how scared you are right now and he needs to be patient with you, maybe he can call when he gets to work and when he is leaving he is going thru alot also so Im sure he won't mind.  Good luck with workmans comp my husband got hurt in 99 and we still fight them to this day he has had one back surgery with rods and pins and one of the rods broke they need to fix it but we have bills to pay, i hope the lawyer can help ya i will keep you in my prayers

Dear Lisa,

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your son Daniel. The loss of a child is the hardest loss one can bear. I'm sure you are overwhelmed and stressed worrying about the son you have left. Have you ever tried praying? Prayer is a powerful thing. You can express your feelings and relieve some of your stress through prayer. I would like to share a few things with you from an article with you entitled "Seven Things You Need to Know About Prayer". The first, is Why? Why do we pray? Remember, prayer sets humans apart from all other life on this earth. We are so frail, short-lived, shortsighted. Only someone far wiser, more powerful, more enduring that we are can give us what we need. Prayer can be very comforting, but we have to know Who to direct our prayers to. The answer is found at Matthew 6:9 where it states who we should pray to, Jehovah is Jesus' Father. He is the God to whom Jesus prayed to and to whom Jesus taught his followers to pray. If you think about it Lisa, in writing a letter to a friend, you would need to address that letter. Prayer is the same way, it helps to know who you are praying to and by using God's name, you can pour your heart out in prayer just as you would to a dear friend. You can pray to Jehovah about all things, to help with stress, for forgiveness, to deliver us from the wicked one. It does not matter where or when you pray. I find myself praying on my way to work so that my day starts off clear and without stress. I know you have been having a hard time, but I truly believe that praying and knowing who to pray to will bring you some comfort. I would love to mail you the article I have on praying or you can request it by going to www.watchtower.org and simply state the title for the article you want. I hope you find some comfort in what I have shared with you. Sincerely, Debbie
