In Quiet Time
In quiet time before I sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
A little prayer I learned as a tot,
And as I’ve grown older have not forgot.
I have a new prayer in mind,
But, the words are hard to find.
I’ll admit, I’ve been remiss, and
Then I remembered back to k.i.s.s.
(Keep it Simple Stupid)
Now, as I look ahead, enough is said,
THANK YOU LORD, I AM NOT DEAD
