Lost the best part of my life when Barb died this week and I am having a tough time adjusting. I know it's early but it seems like an impossible hill to climb. Any advice about how to go on from here. Figured that joining this site might be a good option to help me cope. She was very ill with Cholangial Carcinoma, a form of liver cancer. She actually survived 10 years with the cancer but during the past 4 or 5 months she slowly got worse and worse. Any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I lost my husband of 40 years on 1/26/2015.  I have discovered just day to day functions are almost impossible.  I am proud of myself when I make it thru the day.  Just take the time you need.  my husband was diagnosed with cancer 8 years ago and we fought this together.  I write in a journal everyday and still ask for his advice before I make any big decisions.  you will discover you are stronger than you think.
